Wetland Determinations

An informal wetland determination is a preliminary assessment conducted to determine whether an area meets the criteria for being classified as a wetland. This assessment is based on field observations, soil analysis, and vegetation surveys. It is an important first step in land development projects, environmental impact assessments, and regulatory compliance processes. By identifying potential wetland areas early on, project planners can take appropriate measures to avoid or mitigate impacts on these sensitive ecosystems, thus ensuring sustainable development practices and compliance with environmental regulations. Informal wetland determination turn around time is 3-5 days, however may vary depending on current workload. Pricing is based upon parcel size.
